Dr. Boekeloo has practiced dentistry for over 20 years in Southwest Michigan. His practice includes family members of all ages. He has been in his current location on Cleveland Avenue in South St. Joseph for 10 years. He is married and has two young sons who are 6th generation Berrien County residents.

Dr. Boekeloo graduated from Albion College before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan. He also has an additional master's degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Dr. Boekeloo is very active in dentistry at the local, state and national levels. He is a past president of the Lakeland Valley Dental association. At the state level he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Michigan Dental Association, Insurance and Financial Group. Nationally, he serves as a legislative liaison on health related issues with members of the US Congress. He has also joined The Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Boekeloo is a past President of the St. Joseph/Benton Harbor Rotary Club and its foundation. He has served on many other community boards. Local History is a hobby of his; he often lectures on local history topics and has had a monthly radio show for over three years.
